Mickleover Methodist Church is part of the Derby South Circuit in the Nottingham and Derby District of the Methodist Church. 

The strategy of the Church is the responsibility of the Church Council who are also the Managing Trustees of the property. 

The detailed management and organisation of specific areas of the church activities is delegated to four teams who make use of working groups to develop specific projects in pursuing the overall mission of the Church.

Church Stewards are elected by the members of the Church at the Annual Church Meeting and are responsible for the day to day running of the Church and co-ordination between the Church teams.

The Pastoral Team is responsible for the pastoral care of the extended Church family.  This includes the organisation of fellowship groups and the pastoral visiting. 

The Family Team is responsible for the spiritual growth of the church family and for the  development of  worship and fellowship. 

The Outreach Team is responsible for Missions, Christian charities and outreach to the local community.  This is carried out through those who use the Church premises, personal involvement in community activities and joint projects with the other churches in Mickleover. 

The Business Team is responsible for managing the finance, and the maintenance and development of the buildings.
