Mickleover Live at Home Scheme supports about 97 older people in the Mickleover community who may be isolated and unable to get out and about as they used to.  The aim of the Scheme is to encourage members to regain lost confidence and to become part of the local life once more.

The scheme is supported by a local volunteer committee and managed by paid  staff who co-ordinate the work of around 60 volunteers.

Although it has links to the Methodist Church, services are available to any older person in need.  Also anyone is welcome to apply as a volunteer helper.
